The Beaten Children

This is the story of me and my friends. My name is Shane.

We planned on telling the police about our abuse but we feared they wouldn't believe us. What if they told our parents? We decided to run.

We have been taking some spare wood from dead trees and making a raft. We were going to leave this Friday.

It's Friday and we have set sail. No one knows that we have left, although it has already been more than an hour. We are all hungry.

The flowers and animals are so pretty. I'm gasping at the site when I hear, Shane it was called out with caution, Shane'! that time In a frightened voice, I turn and and see in the fog I shout its a, water fall!!! As I looked they, were paddling as fast as they could. Gabe' was yelling were, going to Dy! Were gonna dy! The next thing I now we were, falling then I blacked out. We woke up 2 miles away from the water fall.

There is 6 of us me Gabe, Rachel, Kelly Ben, jimmy,.But Gabe, Ben, and Kelly, were lost we looked every ware. Me Rachel, Jim, were trying to make an ether raft we use some Debee, that we made. It has been 2 hours sins the separation. We need to find the others said Rachel.We made a the raft and Stael, no sign.After an hour of looking, we see a fire. that is them said Jim. Maybe Rachael said ya its them, I said after we got them. It's been 3 days sens we left. On the 5 day we found ow er parents and they said that thy were, so sorry and they were going to sign, up for counselling and they said they were proud of us. THE END

Why ENGLISH chose JAMESTOWN to SETTLE???

The English were going to America when they found a perfect place. Ever everyone thought that Jamestown sound nice. They named it after King James the sixth. They chose Jamestown because of its a abundant resources. The English also had an ocean near bye so they could have ships bring food people or resources that they were low on. They could use the water from the ocean for a lot of things like for the plants or they could boil it and give to people or animals so Jamestown is a nice peaceful place. To this day the history stays the thayer.

pocahontas

Pocahontas is very thoughtful. One time she looked everywhere for extra food that they did not need and gave that to the hungry pale faces. She believes in keeping her dignity. Like if you did not do the work of catching a bear. You should not take the bear if the trap that cot the bear is not yours. She is so loyal to her people even thow her brother is so mean to her. Bearly any buddy well listen to Pocahontas even thow she is so nice to them. I'm not 100% sure what her religion is but i thank it might be crishgen. She talks a lot about spirits and that sort of stuff. When she hears about people who are starving she goes into action and helps as much as she can. She is so amazing and does so much with nothing in return. I wish that every one knew her story as much as i do. By CLYDE ROBERT BULLA.

My paper is about Beethoven. Well, noone knows for sure when he was born but back in the 1770s people were babtized the day they were born.

The Viking Adventure by Clyde Robert Bulla

I read a book last year. It was about a boy named Sigurd and his search for adventure, eventually found with his father's friends in Greenland. If I were a character is this book, a friend of Sigurd's, I would explore new lands with him. I would run and hide with Sigurd from Halfred. He owned the ship they rode in to Greenland and tried to kill Sigurd's father.

I think I would have been helpful to Sigurd because we could have trained together for adventure living from our youth. We could have learned to read together and in the end, I could have helped him get over his father's death.

I would recommend this book to kids my own age because it is very inspiring and action-packed. It is a good influence for kids my age.

When I Grow Up

When I grow up I will have a job at Wal-mart while I am going to college, until I get enough money to buy a store. I'd like to own an IGA. However, I might become a farmer. Maybe I'll have a farming store. Either way, I'll have a dog named Gus, the Second.

Thorntown will be a nice place to live. I'd like to stay here because it is a nice community. You can ride all around town without worrying about your kids being kidnapped and there are no drive-by shootings. I don't know exactly what my home will look like, but I imagine that it will be an old house by my family and my store.

I love Samuel and Simon, my two younger brothers. Simon is adorable, but he does pull my hair. Samuel is very ornery, but I love him just the same. I hope they will both grow up and be successful and I'll be able to see them often. I suppose, I could hire them to work in my store or on my farm.
